HomeManagement TeamThe activities of the Knocklyon School of Music and Concert Bands are overseen by our Management Team, which is comprised of the Musical Director, the parents of members and nominated musicians from the Senior Band who are either in college or working.
The team usually has between 10 to 12 members, who are elected at our Annual General Meeting in September. Positions available are Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, Manager of the Junior and Senior Bands (one post each), Trips/Events Coordinator (the Senior Band usually travels abroad once a year to a foreign music festival or competition), Registrar, Senior Band Member representative and 4 ordinary members.
The full team meets 6 times a year, with subgroups carrying out the various functions as required.
Expressions of interest in joining the team are always welcome; there is always much to do during the music year!
